Pacific combination cast chain is well suited for elevating and conveying applications, but is not recommended for drive applications. Considered a general purpose conveyor chain, it is most commonly found in the cement, pulp & paper and quarrying & mining industries. Pacific Combination Cast Chain is manufactured from durable malleable iron block links and steel pins and side plates. With the exception of C55 the barrels of each block link are elliptical, or oval, shaped. This shape increases the metal surrounding the barrel where the chain and sprocket make contact, maximizing wear resistance and service life. Additionally, the steel pins are double broached and secured into notched side plates preventing pin rotation and chain elongation.
