Pacific Steel Pintle Chain is quadruple staked and fully heat treated to provide maximum strength and durability. To insure ideal hardening and strength, all Pacific Steel Pintle Chain is oil quenched during the heat treating process. Our chain has an open barrel design minimizing contact between the pin surface and the barrel eliminating chain freeze due to material build up and corrosion. Additionally, this open barrel design helps to remove build up on sprockets, improving resistance to fatigue while lengthening chain life.
