• Standard & Premium Series Precision Roller Chain side plates are cold rolled and then re-rolled in a precision sizing process; a process seldom seen in chain factories across Asia. With this process, it is guaranteed that our Precision Roller Chain side plates fall within the tight tolerances established by ANSI and ASME.
• Standard & Premium Series Precision Roller Chain utilizes a "wide waist" design on its side plates, which increases strength while combating fatigue.
• Standard & Premium Series Precision Roller Chain side plates are ball burnished. Ball burnishing cleans, pre-stresses and hardens the inside diameter of the rivet pin holes, maximizing resistance to fatigue.
• Standard & Premium Series Precision Roller Chain solid rollers and solid bushings are cold forged.
• Standard & Premium Series Precision Roller Chain side plates, rollers and solid bushings are shot peened before assembly, making the Precision Roller Chain dynamically stronger.
• Standard & Premium Series Precision Roller Chain rivet pins are made from alloy steel.
• Standard & Premium Series Precision Roller Chain rivet pins, rollers and bushings are subjected to a carbon-nitride heat-treating process.
• All three series of Pacific’s Precision Roller Chain are run and pre-stressed or stretched, which accurately establishes length, evenly distributes the working load and prevents rapid elongation during initial run-in.
